10.3. Summary

Group Policy is a powerful tool that can be used to manage user and computer objects within a domain. You can create and link a GPO to a site, a domain, or an OU. When multiple GPOs are applied, all of the settings are merged and applied. If there are any conflicts, the last GPO applied wins, and the order in which GPOs are applied is local, site, domain, and OU.

RSAT can be installed on Windows 7 computers to manage roles and features on servers in the domain. It includes multiple tools including the GPMC.
