5.5. Summary

Windows 7 includes several tools that are designed to help your system stay healthy and running smoothly. The System Repair tool is the most valuable when failures prevent the system from booting, and it can automatically correct many problems with very little user interaction.

You also have several tools that you can use to monitor and adjust your system, such as Event Viewer and Services. Occasionally things go wrong, and you need to do some more aggressive troubleshooting. In this chapter, you learned about many of the tools available to do both minor and major troubleshooting of Windows 7.
