Who This Book Is Written For
This book is designed specifically for technical architects and implementers already familiar with Windows NT. It is expected that concepts, such as domains, trusts, namespace, and Internet technologies are familiar to the reader. This book is not targeted at the individual who will be tasked with administering and maintaining an Active Directory environment.
Finally, this book is primarily focused on individuals working for medium- to large-size organizations of one thousand desktops or more. Many of the design issues discussed in this book might not apply to organizations smaller than this.
