Summary

In this chapter, I have provided an overview of how to implement a lab for testing your Active Directory design: build the team, develop a strategy, create the environment, test, and then document your results. This entire process can play an important role in the implementation of Active Directory in your organization. It helps to establish credibility for your project with the organization as a whole and with executive management. Most important, it is the place where you validate your design, and where you establish the need for more rework, or finally determine that you are ready to implement. Don't rush through the lab phase of your Active Directory project. It is critical to your success.
