Administrative Structure

The administrative structure of the organization has an impact on how the Active Directory implementation takes place. A variety of administrative structures can be in place before Active Directory. The scope of the effort in the area is determined by the current administrative structure and the targeted administrative model. There are two main areas most administrative models fall into:

  • Centralized administration

  • Decentralized administration
