SUCCESS—AS DEFINED by accomplishment that is both achieved and sustained—obviously doesn’t just happen to lucky people. It happens to those who know where to draw the line between “wanting” and “doing.”

“Wanting” is like “trying”—both are crutch words designed to make us feel as if we’re making progress when in reality we’re still stuck. The more you want something, the more you try for it, the more elusive it becomes.
