I HATE the phrase “work/life balance.” It’s rubbish. “Life” doesn’t stop when you’re in the office and, if you are like most people, “work” doesn’t stop when you’re at home. For too long we’ve been trying to measure the success of one part of our lives against the other, which usually causes us to fail at both. So let’s focus on something else.

Let’s focus on becoming our highest and best selves, regardless of whether we’re in the office or at home.
