HIRING INTEGRITY

Baystate Financial operates under four principles: integrity, competence, professionalism, and work ethic. When the firm’s recruiters interview job applicants, they look for candidates with those four qualities.

Competence and work ethic are difficult to determine from an interview, so a recruiter gauges those principles by asking the candidate’s references whether the potential associate possesses those qualities. But integrity and professionalism often are obvious on first impression.
