One area too frequently ignored by confidence gurus concerns our romantic interests. Even when not ignored, this is a subject often tackled through generalities that, while helpful, fail to reach the nub of our needs. I can’t blame them, of course, because this is a controversial area in which we can be accused of gender stereotyping and even of being sexist. My desire to tackle this subject head-on should, therefore, contain a health warning: reading on may cause offence.
