Partnerships – a Significant Milestone for the High-FF
Partnerships are another form of entrepreneurial leverage deserving special treatment, not least because they represent a significant milestone for the recovering High-FF capable of mastering them. The thought of running a business as a joint venture with another person as an equal partner is both enticing – our partner could bring some of the entrepreneurial requirements we may still lack (such as confidence, optimism, courage and other traits typical of those with high achievement motivation) – and at the same time terrifying. We are likely to harbour typical High-FF concerns regarding trust.
