Outsourcing Our Ambitions

Yet for the High-FF, our fate can be worse than simply watching the goal-setters progress while we get left behind. We are often recruited to help execute their plans, sometimes under the false premise that their goals are also our own. This was very much my experience when starting out as an entrepreneur at Metrocube – my partner spotting my directionless post-banking pursuits and recruiting me as the executer of his own goals (with near-disastrous results for our partnership – see Part Five).
