Section 2Exploring the New Database Templates
Getting started working with Microsoft Access is very easy using the new database templates. Each template is a tracking application, complete with the necessary tables, relationships, queries, forms, reports, and macros. In addition to the predefined templates that ship with Microsoft Office Access 2007, templates are also available on Microsoft Office Online. There you can download the latest revisions to existing templates, as well as any new templates that Microsoft has created. At the time of this writing, the following categories of templates are available (see Figure 33):
- Business
- Education
- Personal
- Sample
