How do you conduct yourself under pressure?

Is your conduct consistent with your stated values?

Seated at the helm of an organization, a leader wears many hats and plays many roles.

We’ve talked about several of those roles in this book: the leader as visionary, coach/mentor, organizational architect, and change agent. In addition, the leader may play the role of the wise captain—the person you trust to guide the ship even when no one is quite sure what the future holds. The leader must also be the visible chief guardian of the organization’s reputation, ethical standards, and brand integrity.
