Gwendolyn Sykes

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, YALE UNIVERSITY, AND FORMER CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AT NASA

Gwendolyn Sykes joined Yale as chief financial officer in July 2007, where she is responsible for the financial stewardship of the university, including budgeting, accounting, and transaction management, financial reporting, internal control, and the integrity of financial information.

A long-time public servant, Sykes previously held the position of CFO at NASA. She was appointed to her position overseeing the financial management and health of the $16 billion agency by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2003.
