Dubbed the “First Lady of American Magazines” by the Financial Times, Cathleen Black is the president of Hearst Magazines, a division of the Hearst Corporation and one of the world’s largest publishers of monthly magazines.
Black manages the financial performance and development of some of the industry’s best-known titles, including Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s Bazaar, and O, The Oprah Magazine. She also oversees nearly two hundred international editions of those magazines in more than one hundred countries.
