ABOUT THE AUTHORS
JAY B. BARNEY received his BS from Brigham Young University and his master’s degree and PhD from Yale University. He served on the faculties at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and at the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M, and currently is a professor and holds the Chase Chair in Strategic Management at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. In addition, he has received two honorary doctorates—from Lund University (Sweden, 2001) and from the Copenhagen Business School (Denmark, 2008)—and has held honorary faculty appointments in China (Peking University, Nankai University, and Sun Yat Sen University), New Zealand (Waikato University), and the United Kingdom (Brunel University).
