13.2. Using XML in WebSphere

Depending on the application and the capabilities of the different software components involved, XML can be used at various points in the application data flow as shown in Figure 402 on page 541.

A browser can browse static files. These files can be HTML as usual, or XML. XSL and CSS stylesheets can be associated with the XML document to instruct the browser how to display the document.
