2.5. Security
Performance is significantly improved when security is enabled in WebSphere V3.5. One of the new features within security is Client Certificate based authentication.
Microsoft’s Active Directory is now supported along with other LDAP servers such as IBM SecureWay, iPlanet, Domino, and Novell Directory Services.
