Sybase
Sybase’s Adaptive Server Enterprise Edition R12.0 can now be used as the WebSphere administrative database and with container-managed persistence (CMP) EJBs. This support is available of the AIX, Solaris, and Windows NT platforms.
Oracle 8.1.6
Additionally Oracle 8.1.6, both thin and thick JDBC drivers, are supported.
WebSphere V3.5 also supports Distributed Transaction Support for Sybase and Oracle.
