Mission accomplished
We are at a point where it is time for our imagination to run wild. The missing elements are fun and creativity. We have looked at interesting lighting examples, converting textures that looked like wallpaper into textures with depth and an organic look, and virtual spaces with portals. Like most work in the field of computer graphics, we demonstrated the technical issues first and then allowed the designers to create the engaging scenery that connects us emotionally with their story.
Perhaps this final image poses the questions, "What do we see when we see ourselves designing WebGL websites? What do we see when we look deeper and deeper into virtual space?"
