Hotshot challenges
A great challenge would be to combine all these features—reflection, refraction, normal maps, and rendering to a texture map—into a dark city scene. The normal mapping of brick patterns with spotlights can be compelling and eye catching. Add to that windows with reflections, and if you dare, water pools with refraction. This is a great time as well to engage with 3D artists to create some great architecture for you to light. Together, you can create some impressive worlds.
