2.9 SUMMARY

This chapter brought out the basic concepts of HTML (interchangeably referred to as XHTML), which itself is the basis of web technology. The most common tags classified into structural, link, content, formatting and Forms were presented. An introduction into the latest version, HTML5, is also made in this chapter.
