1.12 SUMMARY
This chapter brought out the philosophy of the web, its history and its evolution to what we see today. The various technologies that interact with each other that form the web are also brought out. In the process, they are tied together by standards and the various organizations that are responsible for bringing up these standards are also highlighted.
