It is a common practice to use different transport protocols in SOA. Usually, when integrating heterogeneous systems, we need to make use of various transports as well as messaging systems. So far, all our discussions on soapUI have been based on HTTP and HTTPS transports, which are the most common transport mediums used in SOA.
