6.4. Service Portals
The advanced service interactions presented can lay the foundation for deploying complex web services on the Web. As we saw in Section 6.2, services can be composed together to create complex, higher level services. In Section 6.3, we showed how standard Web components can interoperate with e-Speak to deploy browser-based interfaces to services. Together, these architectures allow service aggregators to collect services of interest and present a Web-based user interface — a service portal. In Chapter 11, we discuss service portals in more detail.
