WS-Addressing has emerged as a fundamental building block of the Web services framework, almost as important as SOAP itself for enabling communication between and across Web services that need to go beyond the regular WSDL Request-Response exchanges. This chapter continues where Chapter 11 left off, by exploring how the design of SOAP messages can be expanded with the standardized headers provided by the WS-Addressing language.
