A Few Words on Privacy

In this chapter I'm going to point you toward phone books, address finders, and some mapping resources. They're very powerful tools. And because of that you need to treat them carefully. Don't violate people's privacy with these tools. If they want to be left alone, leave them alone. Don't use these tools to find phone numbers for the purpose of telemarketing—that could lead to a big ol' fine from the FCC. In other words, be sensible and treat people courteously. All right?
