You know what you want to be, and you know where you want to work. Maybe you're happy enough to find a job in your hometown, or maybe you want to move across the country.

Try local resources first—namely, newspaper classifieds. They hold a wealth of jobs, and you can focus on finding the job you want instead of having to artificially narrow your search by area as you would have to with nationwide job searches.
