A Recap: What Are Special Syntaxes?
Special syntaxes are called that because they allow you to do searching beyond simple keyword searching. Special syntaxes can allow you to search within page titles, within page URLs, within pages indexed by the search engines on a certain date, and other very specific kinds of searching. Some examples of special syntaxes, for Google, are intitle (find keywords in title), site (find results on a certain domain or top-level domain), and inurl (find keywords in page URLs).
