Synopsis

Plays an audio file automatically in the background when the document loads in the browser. This tag is discussed in Chapter 19.

Attributes

src= url

This mandatory attribute provides the URL of the audio file to be downloaded and played.

loop= number |infinite

Sets the number of times the sound file should play. The value can be a number or set to infinite.
