Creating End Signs

Here's another trick involving horizontal rules: By manipulating the width and size attributes, you can create boxes to position at the end of a section of text, much like a magazine signs off with an end sign, or a special character or bullet at the end of an article. See Figure 54.3 for an example.

To create a box, set the width and size of the horizontal rule to the same amount:
