This book shows how the European Union and national authorities adapted its reaction to the evolving crisis and the changing circumstances. The response came from various dimensions, including supporting financial institutions and sovereigns, fixing the flaws in financial regulation, enhancing economic governance, and implementing policies to foster growth. Trying to address the crisis from these many fronts implies a high level of complexity and potential interconnections and interactions between the measures and the results.
