Photography can be breathtaking and beautiful. It can represent a real or an imagined world. Yet, from its beginnings, photography constantly struggled to be accepted as ‘real’ art. There were those who claim artistic creativity is too constrained by the involvement of a highly technical process, which is a debate that is now refueled with the invention of digital imaging.
