Wavelet packet modulation (WPM) is an orthogonally multiplexed transmission technique where information-carrying symbols are placed on orthogonal wavelet packet bases [1]. These orthogonal signals are typically equi-spaced sub-carriers that are modulated to occupy different centre frequencies.
