PART IPreparation for Wave Riding
As with all roles and tasks, Wave Riding requires preparation. It is essential to identify what we are looking for (in this case High Performance), the environment we will be operating in, and some of the basic mechanisms and obstacles to be encountered along the way. In addition, the limitations and shortfalls of previous efforts in the quest for High Performance will be considered to the extent that this is helpful in understanding the unique position of Wave Riders, and the waves upon which they ride.
