Summary
In this chapter, we created our first dynamic application that allowed users to search for contact information for several employees from several different companies. We did this by creating a database file for the names, addresses, and companies in our directory and then connecting it to our WML code with a Web application platform. Although in this case we chose ASP as our Web application platform, in the following chapters you will see other sample applications created with JSP and ColdFusion.
