The Phone.com Notification Protocol

The WAP Forum's protocols have no specific APIs, and have primarily been designed for other WAP gateway vendors who can develop their own APIs for push notifications. To actually create a push notification yourself, you're going to need to use a set of tools built to work with a particular WAP gateway. The most common set of tools available to you are provided by Phone.com.

As we mentioned above, the Push protocol is entirely dependent on the network you are using as well as the server you are pushing through.
