We'll begin with a brief description of the idiosyncrasies of email and WAP, listing several ways you can establish WAP-based email accounts. Specifically, we will discuss email accounts available through several private companies and Phone.com. Later we will show you how to actually integrate email into your applications, and give you some specific examples of when this kind of functionality might be needed. Finally, we will explain the basics of push notifications as they are an important component of email functionality.
