The URL Library

Working with WAP now for a while, you’ve probably begun to see an underlying way of how these types of applications work. What you might have been noticing is that a WAP application is essentially a series of cards and functions linked together through URLs. Web applications work in a similar fashion.

To say that URLs are an important part of a WAP application is an understatement. URLs are nothing less than the driving force behind how a WAP application operates.

The WMLScript language provides several built-in functions to enhance the operations of URLs. The URL Library handles both URLs that exist either locally (within the device) and remotely (on a remote server).
