Congratulations! After finishing this chapter, you can consider yourself a budding WAP developer! You’re now familiar with the various data types available in WMLScript and how they play an important part in determining how your application operates.

You also learned more about variables and functions and how the two together provide the real heart of a WAP application. Specifically, you learned how to create functions yourself but were also introduced to several built-in functions (better known as WMLScript libraries).
