Summary

This chapter examined the navigational functionality made available by WML. You began this chapter by looking at the difference between absolute and relative URLs and how both can be used in WAP applications. You then examined the WML hypertext and event elements, both providing the capability to link various tasks to a WAP application. This chapter also covered setting navigational links both at the deck and card levels.

You then examined the use of the DO element, and how its use with the TEMPLATE element enables users to create deck-level navigational settings.
