Creating Paragraphs with the P Element

All written communication uses paragraphs of some type or another. Paragraphs enable you to break information into separate entities for easier understanding. WML is no different. When creating any kind of text within your applications, you use the P element.

The P element is an important aspect of WAP development because it controls how all text displays on a WAP device’s screen.

TIP

Although all WAP applications require some amount of text, you must use caution. Large amounts of text result in a lot of scrolling (and frustration) for your users.
