In WAP applications, a URL provide the path to which cards navigate. WML provides elements that provide the functionality for cards to connect to other cards and files, whether they are both contained within the same deck or on different networks and servers.

The ANCHOR Element (Chapter 5)

Enables users to select and navigate throughout a WAP application.
