Images
Images provide several advantages for both users and developers of an application. Images provide symbolic meanings to application functionality, making software easier and more fun to use. Images convey meanings, often better than lines of text can.
WML provides an element that allows developers to incorporate images into WAP applications. However, use images sparingly. Not all device browsers support images at the time of this writing.
The IMG Element (Chapter 7)
The IMG element provides the capability to display images within WAP applications.
