Now that you have explored spectral atmospheres and the way to control the overall lighting of an interior scene, there are still a couple of things that need to be discussed. One is a way of adding light to a scene that doesn’t involve spot lights or light panels, and the other is through the use of photographs. This section is going to look at both of these scene-enhancement techniques.
The first lighting method to look at is using the Convert to Area Light command. This will turn any object, or any portion of an object, into a light-transmitting object. This is great for adding realistic effects to your interior scenes, or even for more supernatural endeavors.
