Building a city or town in Vue is a multipart project that incorporates more than one program. While you can place objects individually into your scene and arrange them as you want, you can also use image maps to help with that sort of repetitive task. If you are building a medieval village of some sort where there are a few buildings scattered around a wide expanse, it’s easy enough just to place the buildings one at a time. When building a city scene, especially a large-scale cityscape, placing buildings one at a time can become an excruciating study in repetitiveness. It’s best to place them as EcoSystems and let image maps be the generators for those EcoSystems.
