Lighting the Scene

Now that you have the environment, you have some considerations facing you. First, since this scene is fathoms beneath the surface, not a lot of light would pierce the darkness. We could have some light emanating from the Eco Dome; that could be very interesting. Or we could forego reality and have a beam of light barely reaching through the murk. Sometimes you go with the psychological rather than the reality, and for this scene, the psychological would be that the viewer expects to see some sort of light cutting through the darkness.

  1. Add a Quadratic Spotlight to the scene. We want the beam of light to lessen as it extends through the water.
