The Surface Aquatic

To begin, we need to look at the new Water Surface Editor feature. This takes the traditional Water Plane and puts it on triple steroids. With the Water Surface Editor, you can add full displacement capabilities to the Water Plane. This is no small feat. Remember, the Water Plane is an infinite object—it goes on forever and ever. The calculation your computer has to perform is almost impossible to imagine. So to have the ability to turn it from the traditional flat object to one that has actual high and low points is incredible.

Let’s explore this new feature before actually building some images.
