Another aspect of Vue that often eludes new to intermediate users is how to “dig” into a terrain. Creating ditches, cave entrances, or canyons can be tricky. Merging multiple terrains isn’t always the answer, because the polygon count can get so immense. Take a look at the last project. Well over one billion polygons are causing the scene to burst at the seams. (I don’t know about your computer, but mine was starting to slow down dramatically as I as added all that corn in the field.)
