Scheduling, Budgeting, and Production Forms
There are several commercial software packages available to filmmakers that include all of the necessary scheduling and production forms to make a movie. Gorilla (Jungle Software) and Movie Magic (Entertainment Partners) are two of the most commonly used packages for film scheduling, budgeting, and production management. However, these software packages are usually created for the feature filmmaker and often include far too much detail for filmmakers working on short films or exercises. In other words, they are often overkill for small films. Appendices 4-2–4-9 contain forms designed for filmmakers who are working on short and exercises.
